Who Are We?
Forio Business Simulations is a leader in the field of online business simulation games. We founded our small software company in 2001 based on a passion for our field of business simulations and a belief that we could build a company that would be fun to work at while providing real value to our customers.
We often jokingly refer to Joel as our "guru" as his early essays were written at the same time as we got started. While we don’t agree with him 100% of the time, his comments on how to grow a company, how to hire and motivate developers, and how to design and develop a software product resonated with us as we worked hard to kickstart our efforts.
Who Are We Looking For?
We’re looking for someone who is similarly enthusiastic about developing web applications, has a high degree of technical competence, and wants to create software that makes a difference to people and organizations. We want someone excited about trends in technology such as AJAX, "J2EE without EJB", and online multiplayer gaming. Got a website, a blog, or a fun app you’ve built on the side? We’d love to see it.
