We are looking for a creative, self motivated Java Software Engineer to help us create innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges. The ideal candidate for this job will be able to participate as a key member of a team of developers supporting and creating enterprise applications in an Agile development environment. The candidate should be naturally curious, passionate about solving business problems through high-quality solutions, and be someone who has demonstrated flexibility in meeting the needs of a challenging, fast-paced business environment. In addition they should be comfortable working on existing technology solutions within the group as well as new applications.
Performance Expectations:
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements application code
Supports and/or installs software applications
Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
Familiar with a variety of application development concepts, practices, and procedures
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Demonstrates the ability to review code and provide guidance
Ability to create designs based on the Architectural guidelines and development standards
Technical Skills:
Proven track record in Web Development (2+ years)
Demonstrated capability with Spring Framework or EJBs and ORM frameworks such as JDO or Hibernate
Demonstrated capability in object-oriented analysis/design (3+ years).
Proven track record in Java Fundamentals (3+ years).
Successful experience in J2EE
Positive experience with XML and XML related technologies (XSL,XPath,XQuery)
Proven SQL skills
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
