InstaPAY is looking for a talented programmer with advanced PHP, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL database skills, with an outstanding track record of completing projects on time and generally exceeding expectations.
Candidates are expected to take ownership and drive projects during their whole lifecycle: from research & analysis, product definition, design and development, system testing, bug verification, release testing, beta support, and deployment, to regular updates, maintenance, modifications, enhancements and maintenance. Also write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding and corrections, as well as write manuals and subsequent revisions to describe installation and operating procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Object Oriented development on a LAMP platform observing SDLC principles.
- Linux/Apache server administration.
- Client contact throughout development process.
- Design, implement and maintain new modules/features for our products and platforms.
- Develop, manage, and improve multiple small to large-scale websites projects simultaneously, in collaboration with designers to implement complex interactive user interface designs while ensuring fresh, dynamic, brand-consistent updates to websites in accordance with company standards.
- Build, manage, and enhance business management software solutions and systems such as e-commerce websites, membership based websites, online directories, content management systems & tools, reporting modules, and basic sales force automation or customer relationship management systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience:
- 2-4 years of recent programming experience with dynamic websites using PHP, CSS, HTML, XML, JavaScript. Experience with AJAX, or Ruby on Rails a plus.
- 2-4 years of MySQL database experience.
- 2-4 years of working with Linux/Apache platform including configuration and administration.
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash ActionScript a plus.
- Strong hands on experience with design and development of websites for Internet-based consumer businesses a plus.
- Samples/urls of work required.
Skills/Qualities:
- Extremely detail-oriented.
- Exceptional work ethic, with genuine passion for programming.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially with clients.
- Ability to take ownership of multiple projects, prioritize workloads and deliver quality results on time with minimal direction.
- Teamwork oriented, with ability to mentor other engineers as well as manage outsourced programming team on web application developments and other software/Internet related campaigns.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
