We are seeking to hire a freelance information architect to assist in the re-architecting of our website. Our site is a large consumer oriented site that features a complex data model, with a significant workflow model embedded in the site.
Responsibilities include:
* In conjunction with other team members, design and document core functionality, interface design and user experience based on business requirements.
* Develop functional specifications for each primary section.
* Design wireframes, flowcharts, application behavior and user experience to conform with company’s business and brand goals.
Requirements
* 3+ years experience in information architecture for large, high traffic websites with complex data models.
* Extensive knowledge of design / prototyping tools such as Visio and/or Illustrator.
* Excellent writing skills
* Ability to work with design and programming / development teams to make ideas into actual product.
* Strong attention to detail and exceptional organization, logic and analytical skills
* Familiarity with current technology trends and capabilities, including AJAX, CSS and Flash.
