Aquent is looking for Information Architects!!!!!
The Information Architect will participate in a multi-disciplinary team, including User Experience, Creative, Business Analysis, and Strategy that is making fundamental changes in the Web experience of our client’s customers and distributors. The IA will write user flows to illustrate site functionality, create site maps, design the navigational structure, and lay out the wire frames for the overall user experience. The IA will apply findings from user research, best practices, results of competitive reviews, and guidance/ideas from other members of the team to ensure a user experience that addresses the needs of the client and the site’s users. The IA will point out the research bases and best practices that form the foundation for major design decisions as needed. The IA will work directly with counterparts on the client’s team and will be expected to participate in both formal and informal client meetings/review sessions. The IA must have a proven track record of user experience design, proficiency with wire frame creation tools (e.g., Visio), attention to design detail and documentation, excellent oral and written communication skills, and interdisciplinary teamwork.
This position is for approximately 6 months with traveling 4 days per week, 5th day would be either working remotely or on-site.
