Description:
Second Story has a unique opportunity for an information architect who will ensure that every studio creation best serves the intended user experience, as defined together by the client, partners, and team. This position requires a creative thinker able to ascertain, verify, and document the structures of collaboratively designed user experiences aimed at rewarding curiosity and revealing rich content. The ideal candidate will bridge—and support—design, technology, and business in pursuit of optimal user experiences, as well as:
*Understand and communicate users’ or visitors’ needs and desires as well as site-specific interaction constraints, such as an exhibit environment or multi-user scenario requirements
*Understand and aim to realize the business objectives, interpretive goals, and creative aspirations of the client, partners, and team
*Work collaboratively with producers, designers, and developers to understand content requirements in relation to the structure of a user experience, and uncover and address content issues, variables, or different use cases that may affect the user experience
*Develop experience maps, site maps, diagrams, flow charts, wireframes, and schematics that define the architecture of a project and describe unique interface elements for screens, pages, or interactive states
*Help define use case scenarios or interactive requirements for usability and quality assurance testing and debugging, at a very granular level
*Pro-actively work towards improving studio information systems and logically defining structures and requirements for internal projects
