Inflexxion is looking for a smart, capable, client-facing Information Architect to analyze the cognitive, behavioral and emotional processes of users and to create and document the associated product taxonomies. We are looking for someone who also has solid basic interactive design skills and is interested in exercising those skills alongside Information Architecture assignments.
Skills:
• Ability to condense and organize complex information into simple and usable application designs
• Proven cross-group collaboration skills.
• Stellar organizational and communication skills.
• Experience leading customer needs mapping and design mapping exercises.
• Extensive experience creating sitemaps, wireframes, use-case scenarios and flow diagrams using Visio.
• Experience with social networking, personalization, B2B commerce, and portal sites a plus.
• Passionate about user-centric methodologies
• Ability to plan and execute user research and usability testing
• Ability to meet compressed deadlines
• Strong creative concept development and graphic design ability
• Good typography, composition, color skills
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator
• Some knowledge of CSS and ActionScript
• Good sense of humor
Experience:
• Bachelors degree or the equivalent
• 3+ years experience designing and documenting websites and web applications preferably in an interactive agency environment.
