The Information Architect is a full-time position based in either Philadelphia, PA or Los Angeles, CA with occasional travel to customer locations for consultative meetings and billable work. The three key responsibilities of the Information Architect are excellent interpersonal and communications skills, internally and with customers; strong web development background with skills and experience in IA & site design, usability and HTML, and; provide leadership on web-based projects to bring together architecture, visual design and implementation.
The Information Architect must have significant requirements gathering experience, developing site architecture from user/organizational research and be highly proficient with the required software products to support the role. The successful applicant will have the proven ability to define site structure and create site maps, taking in to account local and global navigation.
The Information Architect will be based in and work daily from company headquarters in Philadelphia, PA or Los Angeles, CA with regular overnight travel (25%) to remote customer locations to conduct meetings, assessments and other consultative work. The successful candidate will posses the technical qualifications for the position, a desire to grow professionally and technically by acquiring new skills related to IGCN’s products, and the customer service “soft skills” to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
