POSITION & COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Imagination Publishing, the most passionate custom publishing media agency in the United States, is looking for a Junior Developer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work and progress within an award-winning creative agency.

The Junior Developer manages technical development during projects with internal team members and clients, works within development plans, framework and administration, as part of the project team. This requires hands-on coding and programming of both front-end (CSS, XHTML) and back-end (database, interactive) Web sites.

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

- BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years agency experience with Web Development and Interactive / Database Development
- Advanced working knowledge of XHTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Interactive application development
- Strong web programming knowledge such as Ruby on Rails, ColdFusion. Fireworks, Flash and/or Actionscript a plus
- Experience with Omniture or other Web analytics software packages
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable in working closely with staff and clients
- Experience in an agency or other client-based organization is preferred

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

- Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven business environment on a daily basis
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team with a “can-do” attitude
- Aptitude and interest in professional growth, and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities as needed
- High-energy, outgoing personality with excellent analytical skills
