HUGE is currently seeking a motivated, hands-on ActionScript developer to join the HUGE development group. Developers are responsible for building, testing, debugging and troubleshooting web applications and scripts.
Required:
• 3+ years experience writing ActionScript 2 for Flash applications integrated with server-side web applications and content management systems
• Experience coding complex event handling systems and advanced transitions/animations in Flash
• Experience integrating optimized video, 3d model animation in Flash
• An advanced understanding of the concepts behind object oriented programming and experience implementing OOP concepts with ActionScript
• Experience parsing XML with ActionScript to load dynamic content
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on teams.
Desired:
• Knowledge of and experience with source/version control systems is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Adobe Photoshop, Image Ready, and Illustrator is a plus
