Mission

You will join our high frequency database team managing our home grown databases of hundreds of gigabytes of data which is growing at a fast pace.
Your mission will be to maintain and enhance this database, from code to data via design.
You will need to write automated tools and libraries to update, ensure the consistency and the constant availability of the data across our networks (LAN and WAN).
Developed tools must be aggressively optimized to sustain their daily workload and resource constraints (latency, bandwidth, memory size, etc).

Outstanding skills in software design and development are required. You must have a good understanding and a passion for all the fields of information technology. You must be able to adapt yourself to an international environment, requiring good communication skills.
As we are a small and highly technology based company, we are looking for highly competent and flexible developers.
For this job, you’ll have to dig into advanced system and network programming, in cache and compression technologies, hardware resource management, market data analysis, etc.
Good mathematical and statistical background is a plus.
No previous knowledge of the financial tools involved is required.
