General Tasks:
-The person should be versed in various software QA and testing techniques and be able to apply them in such a way so that the best Quality is produced in any given time.
-Based on product specs and information from Project Managers, create proper test processes
-Report to and work with Programmers to resolve all bugs
-Work with Programmers to deliver software builds and releases.
-Support and Quality Assurance for each software product must be incremental, and thus we expect the person for this position to become deeply familiar with the software, so the end result will be the effective maintenance of the Quality level through out the lifetime of each product, and not just its first release.
-Handle support emails
-Respond to support related issues on our web forum
-Perform real time support for customers using GoToMeeting
-Support documentation
-User Account Monitoring and Management
-Traffic load Monitoring for web 2.0 apps

-Decent understanding of software usability and user experience
-Very good understanding of all the popular client side platforms with focus on
-Windows

-Good understating of all the popular web 2.0 platforms
-Internet savvy, understanding and indulging in the latest web trends
-Gadget savvy, very well immersed in using Smartphones
-Web 2.0 savvy ,very well immersed in web 2.0 social trends
-Be able to speak and communicate in a highly professional manner
-Problem solver
Past experience:
Past Experience as a Q.A. Engineer is a big plus. If you don’t have the experience, then you must have the willingness to learn Q.A. processes and practices.

Location and communications:
Work remotely and communicate via phone, skype( voice, video and text) or any other IMs
Compensation:
-A combination of guaranteed salary and commission from software sales.
Commitment Level:
-We currently estimate 20-30 hours a week. However, we need someone willing to put in as much as needed
-We favor someone that generally has a lot of time to give. Due to the growth rate of Gx5 and Efiko Software, time commitment required will increase
-We do not accept persons will fulltime jobs( 9-5 jobs). This means if you have other jobs, you must have the flexibility to attend to Gx5 matter during the day.
-Depending on importance of product, you may have to work on weekends.

Right now, you will be the only Support Specialist at Gx5/Efiko Software. As we continue to grow, we will need more Support Specialists and you will have the opportunity to be the leader of all our support specialist.
