We are looking for a Ruby on Rails application developer to round out our core 3-person production team.

Globacore is an interactive consultancy serving global clients executing a broad range of project descriptions from custom web application development to interactive exhibits featuring large format touch screens.
We challenge our clients to come to us with any creative technological idea for an interactive system. It is our job to figure out how we can make those ideas a reality. We are looking for a versatile programmer that can bring a depth of knowledge to realize these challenges.
ABOUT YOU
You are a well rounded web application developer with significant experience in the Ruby on Rails framework and Linux administration who is based in Toronto or willing to relocate. Most of Getting Real by 37Signals makes sense to you. You are client facing. You are up for occasional travel to the UAE, Europe, and China.

WHERE WE WORK
When we’re in Toronto, we work in our own 700 sqft open concept office located at 67 Mowat Ave. in the Toronto Carpet Factory building in Liberty Village.
WHERE WE TRAVEL
We travel internationally for our clients to help with the setup of various interactive installations.
In the last 7 months have installed our work in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Paris, Cannes, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, & San Francisco. Everybody on the team is expected to be available to travel for approximately 1 week every other month.
COMPENSATION
Compensation is based on a competitive salary + a formulaic performance based bonus + a comprehensive benefits package
