About You:
As our lead Web specialist, you will support staff from all three of our agencies with initiatives that involve Internet technologies. You seek to continually improve the way our company uses the Internet to conduct business in order to better serve our clients, streamline workflow and optimize resources. You recognize opportunities to innovate and you enjoy a challenge. You can work alone but also enjoy being part of a diverse team of people.
What you will do:
Your primary function is to develop and manage all web-based applications, resources and tools. You will work on:
Web-Based Digital Asset Management Systems (DAM)
Web Content Management Systems (WCMS)
Static and Dynamic Intranets and Extranets
Web-Based Consumer Research and Marketing Applications (CRM)
Mailing List Managers/Email Marketing Applications (MLM)
Web Analytics Systems
Database-Powered Custom Web Forms
Flash Animation for Web Banner Advertisement
Scripting for Animation/Interactivity of Web Pages
Required Skills:
Web Standards Compliant XHTML
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
JavaScript and Document Object Model (DOM/Ajax)
Adobe Flash animation and scripting (animated GIF)
Server-Side Programming (PHP/ColdFusion/comparable)
Optimizing Images for Web (PNG/JPG/GIF)
Web Database Server (MySQL/FileMaker or comparable)
Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/Acrobat
Nice to have skills:
Search Engine Marketing and/or Optimization
Pay-Per-Click Campaign Management (PPC)
Google Analytics
Market Research Analysis
Network Administration
FileMaker Application/Database Development
Location: Mississauga (Queensway & Cawthra)
