givezooks! is looking for a passionate technologist to join the founding team of a startup aimed at shaking up philanthropy (in a good way). givezooks! is an online marketplace for charitable fundraising – connecting charitable causes (nonprofits) with potential donors (corporations and individuals) in a community-based approach.

• Money matters to you— but so does the impact of what you’re doing
—-—-What you need to demonstrate:
• Minimum 7 years track record of successful large scale web architecture creation, web application development and implementation
• Managed small/medium/large development teams
• Successful start-up experience (generated ROI for shareholders)
• You’ve got the network to build the team; people love to work for you
• Agile development methodology
• Ruby on Rails, PHP, MySQL, Java, AJAX, web standards
• Ability to work with development partners (remote and/or marketing related)
• Capable of rationalizing build vs. buy decisions relative to time to market and business strategy
• Working hard is okay; having fun doing it is even more okay
• MS in Computer Science
