Here is what you get to do:
Play a lead role in the design, development and integration of TiVo’s suite of customer-facing web applications
Build fun and engaging applications that carry TiVo’s award winning user experience onto the web.
Help lead TiVo into new online communities and the latest social networking platforms – Facebook, OpenSocial and beyond.
Own our enterprise content management system. Manage template design, site navigation, style integrity, site & system administration, work flows and publishing processes
Partner closely with application developers, user experience designers, QA and business owners. Working with other passionate, sharp folks that will keep you on your toes.
Here’s what you need to be successful:
At least five years of progressive front end web development experience with strength in cross-browser compatible HTML/XHTML and CSS.
Solid experience with JSP, Velocity markup and Struts tiles. Able to thrive in a Linux/Unix environment.
Literate in Content Management systems - Joomla, Drupal, Rhythmyx, Interwoven, Documentum, or Vignette as well as web analytics packages.
Proven ability to scope, estimate and plan complex implementations.
Able to multitask, filter, prioritize, and execute on tight timelines.
How to really get our attention – have real experience with any of the following:
FBML or OpenSocial
Adobe products: Photoshop, Fireworks and/or Illustrator
Flash, ActionScript
DB Queries on MySQL and/or Oracle
