Five Points Solutions, Inc. is looking for a Senior Web Interaction Designer. The opportunity involves work on the UI design for a large web application to be initially launched in 4th quarter of 2008. The web application has been under development since October 2007 with a small team of agile designers and developers.
Workflow
Currently, Five Points Solutions has a very experienced web interaction designer on the team. Working closely with the product visionaries, the designer develops fully working HTML prototypes of upcoming features and functionality. Developers then have working HTML, CSS and JavaScript and can continue with the actual implementation. Our current designer has a prior commitment so we need to fill this position.
Requirements
The candidate must be able to take our vision of a simple, intuitive and approachable application and continue with an elegant, thoughtful design. The individual will need to be able to refine and extend existing patterns as necessary. The candidate should have:
- Very strong HTML and CSS skills
- JavaScript experience
- Experience with wireframes, grey box method or HTML prototyping
It is desired that the candidate come on board immediately to allow him or her to pair with our existing designer. Working on site and integrating well with other team members is important. The position is available for contract or salary (with benefits).
