GetFave.com is the fastest growing online business directory service; our site traffics over 2 million visitors per month and has been growing hand over fist. We’re looking for a mid-level Rails developer who can complement our small team. We’re agile, although not religiously so, and believe in taking the time to do things the right way. We take our code seriously, but have a lot of fun in the process. There are a lot of projects on the board, and we want to bring in someone who can not only tackle current work but bring in new ideas and innovation to the company.
Candidates should…
- have at least 2 years of web development experience.
- have at least 1 solid year of Rails experience.
- have live examples of their work.
- know what all this good stuff is: ajax, haml, rjs, erb, sphinx, solr, sql, nginx, apache, mongrel, god, rest, gem, cap, rake, mate, tdd, git, svn, psd, cron, seo…
Note: This is a full-time, 9-5, on-site position.
