Description:

EyeWonder has an excellent career opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our Atlanta office. You will help to develop enhancements for and maintain use of our internal and external systems. This position functions within a rotational development cycle, ensuring that you will work on a variety of projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

•Consult and collaborate with web sites and networks to integrate the EyeWonder Adobe Flash framework for interactive video advertisements into their Flash-based video players. Work closely with both engineers and managers.

•Integration of the EyeWonder In-Stream Framework into Silverlight.

•Contribute to the development and roll-out of an open source solution

•Help troubleshoot issues related to interactive video advertisements on web sites and networks.

•Maintain documentation and very detailed data for past and present integrations that can be consumed by other teams and team members.

•Assist with data collection on current deficiencies and planning for feature improvements to enhance capabilities of the EyeWonder Unified In-Stream Framework for Flash-in-Flash Advertising.

Education:

Associate’s Degree or higher in an area of study related to computer science or equivalent
experience in a web-related field.

Experience:

•Software Engineering background with strong understanding of object oriented programming, other basic CS skills, and a strong comprehension of standard development practices and project management. Strong design skills and good understanding of patterns and the implementations of systems that require multiple levels of abstraction is a must.

•2 years development experience within the Flash authorizing environment, specifically focused on writing Actionscript 2.0 classes, but also a basic understanding of Flash design issues (examples: stages, timelines, layers, objects, etc.) is preferred.

•Understanding of Actionscript 3.0 classes and experience with any of Eclipse environment, FDT (2 or 3), MTASC, and Flex, and writing Flash components is a major plus.

•A minimum of 1 year experience with HTML and Javascript and especially an understanding of HTML to Flash interoperability (Object tags, external interface).

•Basic understanding of Ad Serving is a plus

•Experience in Java/.Net also a major plus.

•Proficiency at troubleshooting complex issues.
