We seek a highly skilled DBA / Architect for further development and maintenance of probably the largest Microsoft SQL 2005 databases out there.
You must have several years of experience in DB performance tuning through execution plans, indexing strategies, partitioning, caching strategies and physical database design on large databases.
You know about database architecture to perfection, and master all the critical tools; TSQL, table valued functions, partitioning schemes etc. like nobody’s business.
If you know Analysis Services and or Integration Services this will be an advantage.
The database is a VLDB containing online/offline marketing data in both relational and denormalized databases. On top of this a cube structure (Not analysis services at this point) supports extremely fast live reporting. Both reporting and data storage will be your responsibility.
You will work closely with the rest of our development team, ensuring smooth and fast operation of our marketing leading marketing resource management application: Headlight.
