Candidate will help transition successful early generation computer vision product (already successfully catching theft for major U.S. retail chains) to more scalable robust enterprise-grade implementation while expanding to detect additional forms of theft.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Expert-level Visual C++ software design experience
– Broad experience base to create complete application start to finish
– Proficient with the STL and advanced data structures
* Experience developing in the windows environment including experience in Visual C++, developing multithreading applications, and different methods of inter-process communication.
* Must have strong organizational skills and appreciation for modular extensible design principles and scalable architecture
* Should enjoy software architecting and design
NICE TO HAVE:
* Exposure to Computer Vision and vision-related technologies and methods
* Familiarity with SQL and database integration
* Enjoyment of other programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python
* Knowledge of AI algorithms and concepts
* Experience integrating with third-party products such as DVRs
* Web-based design experience and familiarity with AJAX programming practices
