BlueStripe Software is a funded enterprise systems management startup looking for senior engineers with systems-level talents - kernel developers, compiler writers, runtime systems authors.
At this phase of our company, your primary tasks will be defining product architecture and design, writing solid code, testing it, and tuning its performance. But we’re a startup, so you’ll be wearing lots of other hats, too. Depending on your background and interests, you might work on product definition plans, assist with partnering activities, help ramp up our technical field force, throw together a quick user interface, or write our technical documentation.
You must have experience coding a complicated system, e.g., a kernel, a database runtime, a compiler, or a multithreaded server. Bonus points for any systems management or runtime instrumentation background. We write code in C, C++, assembler, and Java, so you need to be experienced in at least one of those. You’ll also need to have completed a BS in Computer Science.
We offer salary and equity compensation plus family medical and dental coverage. Our offices are located in Research Triangle Park, NC.
