Principal Designer at DonorsChoose.org (Part Time or Full Time)
DonorsChoose.org is an innovative nonprofit using an e-commerce model to fulfill needs and foster innovation in public schools. Supporters include eBay founder Pierre Omidyar and Yahoo! co-founder David Filo. We are seeking a Principal Designer to enhance the user experience of our web-based philanthropic marketplace and to develop creative for online marketing campaigns. If you have spent 4+ years working on e-commerce or transactional sites, you can design light-weight web pages that can be built mostly in HTML and CSS, and you have a passion for improving K-12 education and/or the DonorsChoose.org mission, weâd like to hear from you. In addition, if you have skills in print graphic design and layout, information architecture, and/or HTML/CSS, weâd LOVE to hear from you.
