Bandwidth Productions is a small Webby Award winning web development/design shop. Part established company, part startup, we have been financially stable since 2001, but also make time to work on our own fun projects. You will develop complex, custom PHP applications from start to finish for our clients, many of which are well known. You will also develop new applications for FIQL.com, our homegrown music social network that has been featured in Wired, TechCrunch, The Wall Street Journal and other publications.
The following skills are REQUIRED:
1. Experience building complete applications using PHP/MYSQL. Examples might include a custom content management system you built from scratch, a store catalog system, a news manager, membership/registration system, etc.
2. Proficiency in Javascript, HTML, CSS, XML
The following skills are DESIRED:
1. BS in Computer Science or related field
2. Experience in configuring and managing LAMP based servers which may include:
. use of RPM or other package managers
. Experience in Pear package use and installation
. Experience maintaining off-the-shelf PHP products such as PHPBB or OpenAds
3. Experience with MVC frameworks
4. Experience building and using social networking (Web 2.0) applications
