Designkitchen, Inc (http://www.designkitchen.com) seeks design-oriented front-end web developers, extensively versed in the FF (Mac/PC), IE 6, and IE 7 box models. Must be comfortable slicing Photoshop documents using best masking/optimization practices and accommodating complex grid layouts for optimal display accuracy. Portfolio should illustrate clean, valid, standards compliant XHTML/CSS with an emphasis on clean semantic markup.
Pluses: Comfort with JavaScript technologies (DHTML, DOM, AJAX) and implementation of open-source libraries (Scriptaculous, Prototype, etc) as well as User Interface development technologies (APIs, SEO, JSON). Experience working with Subversion and UI templates in .NET and Ruby on Rails frameworks. Knowledge of WAI strategies and guidelines, including the WCAG 1.0 priority checklist.
