Our mission: Epernicus will revolutionize the way scientists interact and collaborate with each other.
Our product: a novel professional networking platform that simplifies and enriches the way scientists store and share knowledge, connect with their colleagues, and do their work.
Our founders: a PhD scientist from MIT who started a publicly traded company, an MD/MBA physician from Harvard, the founder of a successful software company, and the former VP of Technology at a successful interactive agency.
You: a creative, ambitious, entrepreneurial, hands-on individual who wants to be a part of a successful company.
Your experience: design for interactive web applications (social/professional networking experience is a plus!). Ideally, you would be skilled at CSS/XHTML as well although this is not mandatory. We are creating a site for high functioning professionals and need a designer who can combine simplicity and sophistication.
Your role: Design lead, directing the creation and application of design across all facets of our application.
Compensation: Blend of cash and equity. If you’re jazzed by the idea of building a product from the ground up with a group of smart and motivated partners, Epernicus is the place for you.

Please include a portfolio of your designs for web pages and web applications, resume, availability (hours/week), and location.
