If you’re an experienced OLAP developer or programmer who has extensive T-SQL experience then we’d like to hear from you.
DUTIES
As a Data Warehouse Engineer, you will be responsible for developing OLAP schemas, writing custom reports, and leveraging existing OLAP technologies such as Microsoft Analysis Services in order to provide relevant information to various departments within the company. Secondary duties include maintaining and improving our existing DTS system which interfaces with our OLTP databases. The design and development of custom data acquisition programs via T-SQL or other programming languages will be required on an as-needed basis as well.
REQUIREMENTS
* Fluent in T-SQL;
* Solid understanding of OLAP concepts and experience designing OLAP schemas;
* Understanding of OLAP SQL operations such as slice, dice, roll up, etc;
* Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people.
* Fluent in any one of the following web development languages: Python, PHP, Java/JSP, ASP, Ruby, etc.
EDUCATION
B.S. in Computer Science from a four-year college or university, or a minimum of four years of OLAP industry experience.
