Consultants in Behavioral Research is seeking a highly skilled Ruby on Rails developer to build an interactive chronic pain self management Web site. The ideal candidate will have technical, communication and consulting skills. Programmer must be well-versed in agile development, be able to deliver high-quality code, and be comfortable working with an entire application stack from database to Web interface.
The following skills are essential to the project:
* 5—10 years experience developing Web-based applications;
* Minimum of 2 years experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails;
* Expert knowledge of MySQL and/or other RDBMS
* Can work on the complete stack, database to Web front end;
* Comfortable with Javascript, DOM, CSS and AJAX technologies;
* Familiarity Agile software development (XP) to manage successful projects is beneficial;
* Excellent communication skills in working and collaborating with client;
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
