Business Analyst

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst who will create functional specification documents, including wireframes and process flows, and will lead the quality assurance testing of projects for top-tier customer facing Web sites. Through stakeholder interviews, the Business Analyst will quickly understand the business requirements and data challenges of a project and write functional specifications and system design specifications appropriate for an Agile development team. The Business Analyst will then ensure issues are identified, tracked and reported to the product team.
The position requires a candidate who is highly organized, detail oriented and deadline driven with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements:
• A minimum of seven years combined industry experience as an analyst for high traffic (greater than one million page views per day) content or Web service sites or have similar agency experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in Information technology or a related field.
• Five + years writing user stories, use cases and other Agile documentation for multiple, simultaneous Web development projects. A thorough understanding of “light spec’ing.”
• Five + years experience creating wireframes and process flows using Microsoft Vizio or a similar tool. Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of information architecture concepts and best practices.
• Five + years experience performing quality assurance analysis and testing including writing test cases to be used as the basis of automated UTR and business acceptance testing.
• Five + years experience leading meetings with senior-level business stakeholders and other cross disciplinary teams in group and in one-on-one settings. Experience conducting moderating brainstorming sessions and user testing sessions.
• Experience managing project documentation in a Wiki or other electronic, collaborative format.
• Three + years experience as a dedicated member of a Scrum development team.
• Three + years experience managing a minimum of two QA testers either directly or on a per-project basis.
• Demonstrate an expert understanding of domain and URL structures, natural search optimization techniques, ad delivery and ad targeting issues in a Doubleclick DART for Publishers environment.
• A thorough understanding of current Internet technologies and industry trends with an emphasis on social networking and user generated content.
