Candidates must have previous software development experience with Ruby on Rails, and be well versed in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with designers to architect Ruby on Rails applications
- Produce UML modeling documents that guide team development
- Design OO model for application logic
- Implement agile processes and test-driven code development in real-world projects
- Code application and maintain the code base with source control
Required Skills
- Demonstrate at least 5 years of software development / coding experience.
- 3-4+ years experience object-oriented business logic
- Working knowledge of AJAX (XML, JSON)
- Solid knowledge of at least one additional OO language required (Design pattern experience preferred)
- Solid knowledge of relational data modeling and SQL
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Possess the ability to manage multiple projects / clients simultaneously
- Be highly organized
- BS preferred, but not required
