Responsibilities:
Assures that information on the company and customer Web site/store are represented in a clear and concise manner that these Web sites/stores meet the high standards of company publications.
Develop a consistent design structure for each of the company and customer’s Web publications.
Identifies, implements, and maintains an e-commerce solution for the organization and customer’s Web site/store.
Develops online discussion forums and/or similar interactive tools that directly serve core constituency.
Insures that all Internet Standards are met and that the company does not intentionally violate any standards that would place the company’s domain in jeopardy.
Operates with a high degree of autonomy and represents the company in interactions with internal and external constituencies in a calm, friendly, and efficient matter.
Interviews customers to help them clarify their goals for establishing a web store.
Custom tailors a plan for proposed site/store using combination of graphic and written material, and modifies proposal as necessary until customer is satisfied.
Recognize the needs and concerns of people and maintain constructive working relationships with them.
Communicate effectively with department and team members, management, and customers.
Communicate in all interactions – orally and written – in a direct, clear, concise, and professional manner.
Respond to inquires and complaints in a tactful, effective manner.
Follow and encourage all defined policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks as requested by management.
Core Competencies and Requirements:
Good analytical and logic skills
Experience in object oriented programming theories using C#.
Skills in structured query language for MS SQL Server.
Experience with javascript programming, HTML programming (HTML 2.0, 3.0, and Netscape Extensions).

Additional Competencies:
Ability to travel as needed to support the product onsite
Ability to write quick estimates, detailed estimates, change orders (descriptions of software customizations), detailed specifications, and other product documentation.
Knowledge and/or experience in web programming, testing, use
General experience or knowledge in the transportation, amusement and/or museum industries.
Understanding of IIS
Validation method techniques
Experience developing eCommerce solutions

Supervisory Responsibilities:
There are no supervisory responsibilities with this position.
Education and Experience:
BS in Computer Science or Graphics Communication (or equivalent) or 1-3+ years of web programming
Familiar with Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP
Familiar with MS Word and MS Excel
