Now is your chance to join a leading technology software development team. The PensionGold Retirement Solutions Group is seeking a software developer to join their product development team. The software products are developed using Microsoft .Net Framework Version 3.0 tools.
You will be part of a product development team that is responsible for the analysis, design and development of software products related to pension administration. You will be responsible for designing and developing software products. Your designs need to be reliable, resilient, scalable and maintainable. You do not need to have experience with pension administration software to be successful in this position.
This position is based in Springfield, Illinois. Telecommuting is also an option after an initial training period in Springfield. This position will not require travel.
Compensation will consist of a base salary plus paid overtime.
To be successful in this position, you must:
• Be able to apply solid architectural concepts and design patterns
• Be able to design and code solutions that apply object-oriented concepts
• Have a basic understanding relational databases
• Have full life-cycle development experience
All of the development is performed using Visual Studio 2008, C# and Microsoft .Net 3.0 Framework. You must have experience with C# application development. If you do not have C# experience, you must have production-level coding experience using another object-oriented development language plus you must be willing to rapidly come up to speed on C#. Experience with Web Services, UML, ADO.NET, WSE and SOA would be a big plus.
