We’re looking for someone experienced in architecting and designing rich web applications. This person should have a strong appreciation for building best-of-breed user experiences that are both functional, useful and aesthetically attractive.
The role would not be limited to just delivering UI comps or wireframes. Our development approach is design-driven so we’re looking for someone to shepherd an initiative from conception, speccing, design phases and through as it actually gets built. The person should have an appreciation of the strengths and limitations of web technologies including Flash, Ajax and such. We’re expecting a certain level of leadership as an effort progresses from concept to reality.
Arc90 is a small, dynamic shop based in New York City. We divide our time on client work, our own products and our lab (located http://lab.arc90.com). We’re big believers in giving people the autonomy and freedom to creatively solve problems. It’s a highly dynamic, collaborative environment with a strong belief in creating a great place to work.
We’re open to either contract or full-time possibilties with the goal of a long-term commitment. We’re based in New York City and the role requires you to be primarily on-site in the office (though we’re flexible with telecommuting).
