We’re a small, dynamic design & development services firm based in New York City. We’re looking for a seasoned web developer with a focus on PHP/MySQL experience.
We’re looking for smart, out-of-the-box thinkers that want to work on interesting projects and enjoy building cool, dynamic web applications. The work environment is loose & creative. You’ll spend part of your time contributing to non-client projects and experiments (i.e. our "lab" and blog). We also offer many opportunities to grow your skills either through our own internal training sessions or gaining knowledge elsewhere.
A respect for standards-based front-ends (XHTML, CSS) is a big plus. Proficiency or a familiarity in coding richer dynamic applications through technologies like AJAX, Actionscript/Flash, Javascript is a big plus. An understanding of JS frameworks like JQuery and Prototype is also very helpful.
Experience/understanding of any of the following are a plus: CSS, XML, RSS, REST, AJAX, Coldfusion, Java, PHP, SQL, Flash/Actionscript, JS frameworks like Jquery or Prototype.
We’re looking for someone to join us for a multi-month contract posiition with the goal of full-time if things go well. We’d also entertain a full-time option if the fit is right. The position would be on-site (with flexibility to work from home on occasion) in our Midtown New York City offices.
