(Anywhere) The successful candidate for this 6-9 month engagement in Washington, DC will have a portfolio that demonstrates experience with standards-compliant XHTML and CSS and a solid understanding of modern web development practices including DOM scripting and AJAX. The candidate will develop prototypes and Photoshop mockups, and translate those mockups into clean semantic code. Experience integrating front-end code into content management systems is a huge plus.
We need someone with 3-4 years of professional front end code development and 2-3 years of experience with JavaScript, DOM, and AJAX. Additional programming experience (JSP, PHP, Flash, etc) a plus.
We are redefining the focus and operations of ACS to use the web to serve constituents and promote knowledge sharing, advocacy and community.
