Amazon.com is seeking a talented, passionate Customer Experience Designer to join our creative team within the Enterprise Solutions group. We are looking for a highly motivated person with proven user-interface and visual design skills to create innovative customer experiences to support our platform partners ranging from sophisticated e-commerce websites to innovative multi-channel applications for world-class retailers like Target, bebe, Marks & Spencer and Lacoste.

Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior designers as well as usability, business, and development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, on-brand graphic solutions to build a superior customer experience
- Quickly, yet thoroughly, create process flows, wireframes, and mockups to effectively conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors
- Interpret analytics data and work with our usability teams to assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features
- Produce and manage design documentation including style guides and user interaction specifications
- Proactively manage time and deadlines

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience working collaboratively with other designers and project managers to design complex end-user experiences and communicating these ideas clearly and persuasively with clients and other external audiences. This person should be able to adhere to existing style guides and conventions, but also have a strong individual sense of UI aesthetics and bring tasteful, stylish, high-class ideas to the table. Other qualifications include the following:

- Minimum five years experience providing design solutions in a web design, multimedia, e-commerce, or other creative agency-like environment
- Strong blend of visual design skills with information architecture, usability, and innovative user-interface design concepts
- Self-starter who is a customer-obsessed, detail oriented, enthusiastic team player (sense of humor preferred)
- Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
- Expertise in Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, MS Office & Visio is required. Additional experience in CSS, JavaScript, DHTML and Flash is highly desired
- Strong understanding of current e-commerce technologies and principles of web design, HCI, HTML, and scalable dynamic GUIs
- A strong online portfolio of past work experience demonstrating user-centered and visual design solutions
- Degree in Design or other visual communication-related field, or equivalent experience
