Yahoo organized the web. Google made it searchable. Alpha 411 is now making it local. Alpha 411 is looking for a talented and entrepreneurial web developer to join us in creating the next revolution in internet advertising and internet search.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, technical-minded graphic designer who would take pride in helping to create the user experience of Alpha 411’s consumer web sites, marketing materials, and internal tools. The position is an essential link in our product development chain, sitting between our strategy / marketing team and hardcore backend programmers, requiring an individual who is adept at using both hemispheres of their brain.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain consumer web sites and internal tools
- Assist with the development of online and offline marketing materials
- Assist in developing business strategy for Alpha 411 products
Requirements:
- Passionate about creating and taking care of web sites
- Extremely detail-oriented / Perfectionist
- BA in Graphic Design or related field
- 1-3 years web graphic design experience
- Expertise with graphics software including Fireworks, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Desire and capacity to become an expert in HTML and CSS
- Experience in at least one web programming language (JSP, PHP, etc.)
- Skilled in copywriting, brainstorming, wireframing, HCI, direct marketing
- Thrives in an entrepreneurial, multi-tasking environment
