We are looking for a strategy analyst for our growing strategy division. This person will work closely with clients, customers and internal teams to understand clients’ business needs and devise smart solutions that improve performance metrics.

The ideal candidate will balance a passion for research with a strong mathematical foundation and a curiosity in business strategy. The strategy analyst will gather business requirements, perform primary and secondary research, analyze data, propose solutions and programs in writing, and ensure that solutions match business needs.

Responsibilities:

Work with strategy and project management teams to translate proposals/service agreement into analytic work plans,
Perform gathering, cleansing and hands-on statistical analysis of transaction and user data; identify trends, problem areas, new ideas and opportunities,
Learn and deliver online customer analysis topics including retention, lifetime value, segmentation, and use cases,
Research and stay informed of industry trends and client needs; devise fresh ideas and conceptual solutions to share with clients
Define success metrics and assist in creating client recommendations,
Participate and support in delivering results and presentations,
Plan, execute, and analyze online surveys and multivariate testing,
Research and write business whitepapers and blog entries on trends and strategies,
Assist in client relationship management

Qualifications:

Ability to perform basic statistical analysis including segmentation, regression, probability and statistical significance,
Experience leading client meetings and requirements gathering sessions (stakeholder interviews, usability interviews, etc.)
Expert in data manipulation (join, cleanse, transform) using Excel and SQL,
Ability to interpret data and generate insights based on statistical output,
Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SQL,
Highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills,
Comfortable in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment

This is an on-site position at an award-winning company with a passion for smart design and fulfilling user experiences. Ai is located in the Flatiron district of Manhattan, in a bright, cheerful office complete with game room and dog.
