You will be a part of an agile team in our 10 person Web 2.0 startup where every day brings new challenges and hands-on opportunities to make an impact. AideRSS is focused on delivering personal productivity tools that help people deal with information overload and “Read What Matters™”.
Responsibilities:
- Creating compelling sites using (X)HTML and CSS
- Implementing specialized web content
- Creating mockups and HTML prototypes for new sites
- Designing optimized, web-ready graphics
- Testing and troubleshooting for cross-browser compatibility
Required skills and experience:
- Previous experience designing amazing, gorgeous, simple, and intuitive interfaces – portfolio of work and projects required
- Strong (X)HTML/CSS skills for cross-browser rendering
- Experience with usability testing
- Some Ruby / PHP / JSP web-programming experience
- Awesome graphic and visual design sense
- You are a blogger and you read RSS
