We are a well-funded startup based in London backed by one of the top VCs in Silicon Valley. We are looking for an interaction designer to develop web interfaces for an enterprise software product. We are building an innovative application which must be both easy to adopt and demo, and also support power users. This will require strong information architecture and HCI skills, and the ability to make complex software simple to use.
This role will be critical to the future success of the company. The successful candidate will:
- Deliver the vision and the design to make our software beautiful to see and to use.
- Establish a design process and provide the leadership to make good design a core element of everything we do.

Must-have qualities
- Extensive experience of developing browser-based applications, with a focus on interaction.
- Coding experience is not a requirement, however it is essential that you have a thorough understanding of the capabilities of the web browser medium, and an ability to produce detailed mockups of interfaces.
- A portfolio of relevant projects where you have developed solutions that support end-user work-flows. You should also be able to explain the process by which you synthesized the use-case requirements into an operational user interface design.

- A clear communicator, able to influence a cross-functional team.
Other desirable qualities
- A good degree in a discipline such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Multimedia or Ergonomics, or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript or other web technologies.
